Jolly LLB 3(2025)
Written & Directed by Subash Kapoor

This is one of my most anticipated releases of this year; with that, there was a little bit of concern as well about it being a cash grab, but Shekhar Kapoor did not disappoint.

It does go a little over the top & the courtroom drama is slightly lesser, but it still works. The case in hand is relevant, and it's handled with utmost care.

The film is genuinely funny. Arshad Warsi & Akshay Kumar are two actors who have the best comic timing in Bollywood, and it shows. I was laughing so hard watching the film, and when it comes to courtroom drama, they shine even more. The closing argument by Arshad Warsi is beautifully shot and beautifully portrayed. Their chemistry is wonderful in this film, and what adds even more fun is the one and only Saurabh Shukla, who literally embodies this character. These three hold the film together, but there is another actress in the film, Seema Biswas, and her portrayal in the film adds the much-needed depth in the film. It was so nice to see Amrita Rao & Huma Qureshi back; I think, just like the first two films, they do provide some heartwarming moments and remind both the Jollys their morality in the film. Shekhar Kapoor has really impressed me with his writing here; he has managed to balance the funny banter & the courtroom arguments so effectively that it actually makes you think. I also believe that he has also matured as a director a little bit because there's a scene at the end of the film that guts you in the heart; it's so beautifully shot and portrayed that you will cry.

I had a really good time watching this, and I think you will too, so don't listen to the naysayers and go enjoy the film in theatres while you can, because this film Must NOT go unnoticed.
