                                                                        "Love is a long road!"

I didn’t exactly know what this movie was going to be or what to expect. This movie portrays modern relationships and the unsaid rules set by people. It’s a little weird, a little confusing with what Ken Kwapis wanted this film to say about love & people in love, but maybe life is like that only. When you think about the story of Ben & Jennifer, if you think about what other people say or what the norm has become. [Spoiler Alert] Ben would never marry Jenifer. If you really think about Gigi & Alex, through Alex’s own told rules, they should not be together, but they are, so are they the exception, and is everybody else the rule? Is that it?

No, because if you look at how rom-coms work, they should totally be together, and they are, but why? Because that’s how life is, one person’s rule is another person’s exception. It's pretty confusing, right? Should you be optimistic and hopeful, or should you be on your guard? I guess we’ll never know.

In the end, Jenn gives up marriage, and Ben agrees to marry her, so is that unrealistic & totally against their characters? Yes, two people who are together and are equally invested will do whatever it takes to stay together, no matter if they have to let go of their beliefs. And if you really think about it, love itself is an exception; not everybody finds it. It is the harsh truth.

I’m not talking about the love triangle because there’s not much to discuss. I guess if there ever is a sequel to this movie, it should be about those three people.

The film has an exceptional cast & they all did a fantastic job. The edit is tight, and the vibe is amazing. It's a really good watch in my opinion. If you want to watch a nice, easy, maybe relatable movie, go with this one.
