The Proposal(2009)
Directed by Anne Fletcher
Written by Peter Chiarelli

I've heard good things about it, and I've been planning to watch it, and I am happy to report it lived up to my expectations. The film majorly focuses on two people, Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds' characters, two people in the movie who shouldn't get together. The best thing about this movie is that its central character actually goes on a very emotional journey, which changes things, through which we as an audience get to see through her tough exterior, and Sandra Bullock portrays it beautifully. The humor is situational, and it lands very well; the family of Ryan Reynolds plays a huge part in that. It's refreshing to see a romcom not entirely set in a metro city. Ryan is dependable as usual, but my personal favorite from the movie is Oscar. He's an absolute riot in the film; I did not expect to see his wild side like that.

Although I do wish there had been more warm scenes between Sandy Bullock & Ryan Reynolds, but nevertheless, it's a fun, heartwarming watch.
